Artist's Comments

With Raeya's pregnancy nearing its final few months, and no sign of aid from Raeya's side of the family, Mioko decided to move them closer to his "family" in Llueve, Eneliba ("family" because no one's sure who his real family is, not even him). His "sister" is a nurse and midwife, and graciously accepted the couple in her home overlooking the Lunette Sea. Now, resting near the serene sea, they prepare for the next chapter of their life's story.

Mioko has a beeeard :XD: I swear, I think he's been wanting one all this time since every time I scrapped the idea, I ended up scribbling one back in...*ahem*

I tried out some new techniques in this one as far as shading, and I must say it was easier and more effective than the other way I was doing it. And I'm soooo happy with the result. I did the background first, which is probably why it looks so good. I wasn't bored with the picture by the time I got to it, heh.

AoS5 is still in the planning stages, but this part, like the jousting competition, will definitely be in it.

I don't know about Mioko having a beard. Somehow it makes him look like Shaggy of "Scooby-Doo". Other than that it's a nice serene scene,

Aww, Mioko had a little scrub on his chin. Makes him look older. The lighting is absolutely fantastic in this one. They look like first time parents too, happy about what's comig but nervous. Very nice.

Awwww they are adorable! I'm not usually a fan of sweet couple's pictures, but man this is wonderful. Haha, love Mioko's new beard. Looks really good on him.

Also, wow background! The sky and water are fantastic!
